Tournament results: Saint Mary’s Open 2024, November 8-10th 2024, Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, NS. Five-round Swiss, 68 players.  

Open section:  

Tied for first place: Sriram Sarja (2353) and Kyle Creamer (1988), 4.5 points. Prize $262.50 each. 

Tied for third-through-fourth place: Calix Marchand (2199), Samuel Heran-Boily (2035), Paulo Ferreira (1807), and Alice Yancey (1672), 3.5 points. Prize: $37.50 each. 

Under 1400 section:  

First place: Sam Jubin (1295), 5 points. Prize: $325 

Tied for second-through-fourth place: Paul Bates (1391), Liam Mailman (1275), and Kevin Ellis (1268), 4 points. Prize: $116.67 each. 

Sriram Sarja pictured with the Saint Mary’s Cup. Sarja and Kyle Creamer co-won the tournament, but Sarja won the tiebreak so his name alone goes on the trophy.
