Chess saw a huge resurgence in 2020, with people staying close to home and the popularity of Netflix’s The Queen’s Gambit. Here is your chance to learn about the game that has fascinated people for centuries.
Presented by experienced, tournament chess players, the session introduces the rules of the game and explores basic tactics and strategies. Participants of all ages are welcome and no previous chess experience is necessary.
Please note that no actual chess matches will be played during this event.

How to participate
Register 1 spot per attendee. You will be emailed an invitation link to Zoom and instructions on the day of the event.
Tech Requirements: All devices are accepted.
New to Zoom? It’s easy. We’ll email you instructions ahead of time, and when you arrive we’ll be there to guide you.
Registration ends at 11:00 AM on June 5.
