Chess tactics seminar March 23 at Dal

The Dalhousie Chess Club is hosting a seminar/workshop on chess tactics Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Dalhousie Collaborative Health Education Building, Room C220. The workshop runs from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
Description: Many grandmasters emphasize the importance of training chess tactics in order to improve your game. The seminar will be led by Neil MacDonald, who will present important tactical motifs commonly seen in chess. This will be done in a hands-on and engaging format where you will work through many problems and discover your tactical strengths and weaknesses.

This seminar will help you develop tactical vision as well as general problem solving skills. The event is FREE and open to students, faculty, staff, and community members of all playing levels.
