Casual chess at Dal SUB Atrium — resumes September 11, 2017

Starting again September 11, 2017, local chess players will be meeting regularly for casual chess games on Monday nights from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Dalhousie University Student Union Building (SUB), in the Atrium on the ground floor, in the area outside the Grawood. The Dal SUB is located at 6136 University Avenue, Halifax, NS.

This is not a new chess club, at least not yet. For now it is simply another place and time for people to play chess, in addition to local clubs such as the Bluenose Chess Club that meets regularly in Dartmouth and the Lunenburg Chess Club, which meets regularly in Bridgewater.

Players are asked to bring their own chess sets and clocks.
